ETF and ETP provider WisdomTree has announced its intention to close and liquidate nine of its US-listed ETFs.
WisdomTree closes nine ETFs
As of 16 March 2018, the funds will no longer accept creation orders by authorized participants and will cease trading.
Shareholders who do not sell their fund shares by this date will have their shares automatically redeemed for cash based on the funds’ net asset value (NAV), which is expected to be provided to shareholders through their brokers or other financial intermediaries on or around 23 March 2018, the funds’ last day of operations.
The following list of funds are closing:
- WisdomTree Japan Hedged Capital Goods Fund (DXJC US)
- WisdomTree Japan Hedged Health Care Fund (DXJH US)
- WisdomTree Japan Hedged Real Estate Fund (DXJR US)
- WisdomTree United Kingdom Hedged Equity Fund (DXPS US)
- WisdomTree ex-US Hedged Dividend Fund (DXUS US)
- WisdomTree Strong Dollar Emerging Markets Equity Fund (EMSD US)
- WisdomTree Global ex-U.S. Hedged Real Estate Fund (HDRW US)
- WisdomTree US Export and Multinational Fund (WEXP US)
- WisdomTree US Domestic Economy Fund (WUSA US)
The funds all currently have assets under management of less than $10 million, apart from DXPS which has $13.1mn. The expense ratios of the funds range from 0.33% to 0.58%.
