WisdomTree Canada unveils three new dividend ETFs

WisdomTree’s Canadian product suite now covers US, Canadian, European and international equities in developed and emerging markets as well as Canadian fixed income.

Jeff Weniger, WisdomTree Asset Allocation Strategist, commented: “By taking a dividend-weighted approach, rather than weighting by market-capitalisation, these new funds provide investors with more efficient assess to the growth taking place in Canada, the US and key emerging markets. All three of these new funds can serve as core holdings in an investor’s portfolio.”

DGRC provides exposure to dividend-paying Candian companies with growth characteristics. The fund tracks the WisdomTree Canada Quality Dividend Growth Index and has a management fee of 0.21%.

EMV.B provides CAD-hedged exposure to dividend-paying stocks within emerging markets that meet minimum listing, market capitalisation and liquidity requirements. The fund tracks the WisdomTree Emerging Markets Dividend Index CAD and has a management fee of 0.38%.

UMI provides exposure to the mid-cap segment of the US dividend-paying market. The fund tracks the WisdomTree US MidCap Dividend Index CAD, which is hedged to CAD, and has a management fee of 0.38%. The fund is also available in an unhedged version under the ticker symbol UMI.B with a management fee of 0.35%

WisdomTree’s Canadian product suite now covers US, Canadian, European and international equities in developed and emerging markets as well as Canadian fixed income.

The funds provide Canadian investors with the opportunity to gain exposure to equity and fixed income asset classes through innovative, dividend-focused methodologies while managing foreign currency exposure through a variety of hedged, non-hedged and variably hedged strategies.
