Lyxor has cross-listed the Lyxor SG Japan Quality Income UCITS ETF (SGQJ SW) on SIX Swiss Exchange. The fund was launched in September this year and provides access to high-quality Japanese companies that pay high dividends.

MSCI has announced the launch of a new range of indices, the MSCI Factor ESG Target Index Series, designed to provide exposure to target factors while integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) stock selection filters. Lyxor has expanded its popular suite of quality income ETFs with the launch of the Lyxor SG Japan Quality Income UCITS ETF. Being rolled out on the London Stock Exchange and Euronext Paris, the multi-factor smart beta ETF offers investors exposure to high-quality Japanese stocks (excluding financials) that also pay high dividends. The ETF tracks the SG Japan Quality Income Index which uses a three-step smart beta process designed by Andrew Lapthorne, Global Quantitative Research Strategist at Societe Generale.

Daiwa to roll out three ESG-focused ETFs on Tokyo Stock Exchange

Tokyo-based Daiwa Asset Management is planning to launch three new ETFs in Japan – the Daiwa MSCI Japan ESG ETF, Daiwa Japan Empowering Women ETF, and Daiwa FTSE Blossom Japan ETF. Each fund will provide exposure to locally listed equities while utilizing an environmental, social and governance (ESG) stock screening process. They are due to begin trading on Tuesday 26 September 2017.



China Post cross-lists Japan quality ETF to SIX

Amundi ETF offers access to Japan’s Topix with inbuilt euro/yen hedge

China Post has cross-listed its Market Access iSTOXX MUTB Japan Quality 150 Index UCITS ETF (MAJQ) to SIX Swiss Exchange (SIX). The smart beta equity fund will now be available to trade in yen on SIX, in addition to the existing listing in euros on Deutsche Börse (Ticker: M9SQ).
