Over $40bn in Euro STOXX 50 ETFs as blue-chip index turns 20

Zurich-based index provider STOXX has celebrated the twentieth anniversary of the launch of the bellwether EURO STOXX 50 Index. The index, which preceded the introduction of the euro by 10 months, is considered the de factor performance benchmark for blue-chip euro zone stocks. It is also one of the most widely tracked indices, with around $40 billion in ETF assets referenced to it.

UBS introduces GBP-hedging on Bloomberg commodity ETFs

UBS has extended its currency-hedged product suite with the introduction of pound sterling-hedged share classes on a pair of commodity ETFs. They are the UBS CMCI ex-Agriculture SF UCITS (hedged to GBP) ETF (CCXAG SW) and the UBS Bloomberg Commodity CMCI SF UCITS (hedged to GBP) ETF (BCCMG SW).

BlackRock launches global aggregate bond ETF

BlackRock has launched the iShares Edge MSCI EMU Multifactor UCITS ETF (EDMF GY) on Deutsche Börse. The fund, an extension of the ‘iShares Edge’ suite of smart beta ETFs, consists of a portfolio of companies listed in developed eurozone markets that have been selected to maximise exposure to four factors – value, momentum, size and quality – while maintaining a risk profile similar to that of the parent MSCI EMU index.



Harvest Portfolios launches European income ETF on Toronto Stock Exchange
