Job Description:

Owing to the continued success of the business and ongoing growth of the ETF industry, an opportunity has arisen for an additional Fund Reporter to join our office in London. This is an exciting opportunity to write for Europe’s leading online ETF publication and to cover one of the fastest growing and most dynamic areas of the asset management industry. The successful candidate will become an integral member of the team, and will be given a significant amount of independence and be expected to originate a large proportion of their own work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting on new ETF and index launches
  • Coverage of evolving ETF industry news stories
  • Producing original ETF features and thematic pieces
  • Interviewing senior ETF industry figures
  • Attending press briefings and industry events
  • Liaising with third-party contributors

The candidate will also be required to lend a hand to the events side of the business as and when required.


  • Strong writing skills
  • Ability to work quickly, independently and under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Some investment/financial journalism experience (preferably in funds/ETFs)
  • Interest in developing a deep understanding of ETFs (and related areas, e.g. smart beta, indexing etc)
  • Ideally a degree in economics, finance, business, or similar
  • ACSI, IMC, or CFA Level 1+ qualified (or progressing towards) would be a bonus!


  • DoE plus discretionary bonus
