UBS unveils two inflation-linked euro government bond ETFs

UBS Asset Management has continued to roll out its two new fixed income ETFs – which provide exposure to different maturity segments of the inflation-linked euro government bond universe – by listing the funds on London Stock Exchange and SIX Swiss Exchange. The funds are also available on Deutsche Börse.

Invesco has cross-listed the PowerShares Preferred Shares UCITS ETF (PRFD SW) on SIX Swiss Exchange. PRFD provides exposure to fixed rate US dollar denominated preferred securities issued in the US domestic market.

Invesco has launched three PowerShares-branded fixed income ETFs in Europe. The funds track Bloomberg Barclays indices and provide exposure to bonds from USD-denominated corporates, EUR-denominated corporates, and emerging market sovereigns. Invesco to migrate PowerShares Canadian govt bond ETF to NEO

Invesco has announced it is planning to change the listing venue of the PowerShares Ultra Liquid Long Term Government Bond Index ETF (PGL) from the Toronto Stock Exchange to Aequitas NEO Exchange. Fixed income ETF inflows outpace equities in Asia Pacific

ETFGI, an ETF industry consultancy, has reported that fixed income ETFs listed in Asia Pacific (ex-Japan) have proved significantly more popular with investors than equity ETFs during September. ETFs that track bonds have gained $835 million during the month compared to outflows of $1.0 billion seen by equity ETFs listed in the region.
