BNP Paribas launches eleven ETFs on Borsa Italiana

BNP Paribas has rolled out eleven new ETFs on Borsa Italiana, offering exposure to six broad market portfolios with an environmental, social and governance (ESG) overlay, as well as five single factor equity portfolios.

BNP Paribas has rolled out eleven new ETFs on Borsa Italiana.

Four of the five single factor ETFs provide exposure to the European equity market with the funds each targeting one of the following factors: low volatility, momentum, quality and value. Each of the aforementioned factors have historically provided long term outperformance relative to the broad market. The fifth ETF targets low volatility stocks within the US equity universe. Each fund tracks an index created in-house by BNP Paribas’ indexing division and charges fees of 0.30%.

The six broad market ETFs track MSCI indices which screen out companies engaged in creating controversial weapons. The funds offer exposure to emerging markets, eurozone, European, Japanese, North American, and Pacific ex-Japan equities. In addition, the ETF tracking Japanese equities comes with a built-in currency hedge between the yen and the euro. All the funds charge fees of 0.25% except the emerging markets fund which charges 0.35%.
