BlackRock cross-lists ten iShares ETFs to SIX

BlackRock has cross-listed ten iShares ETFs to the SIX Exchange in Switzerland. The funds, detailed below, include a variety of asset class exposures including Treasuries, US sector equities, corporate bonds, and broad commodities.

The iShares $ Floating Rate Bond UCITS ETF (FLOT) aims to protects investors’ portfolios from increases in interest rates by providing exposure to US dollar-denominated floating rate bonds issued globally. The fund is the cheapest floating rate bond ETF in Europe with a total expense ratio (TER) of just 0.10%. Two other versions of the fund have also been listed, providing exposure currency-hedged to euros (Ticker: FLOE) and pounds sterling (FLOS), each with a TER of 0.12%.

The iShares $ TIPS 0-5 UCITS ETF (TIP5) provides exposure to Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities with less than five years until maturity. The fund may suit investors looking to protect their portfolios from unexpected increases in inflation, without taking on significant duration risk. TIP5 has a TER of 0.10%.

The iShares $ Treasury Bond 20+yr UCITS CHF Hedged ETF (DTLC) is listed in Swiss francs and provides currency-hedged exposure to US Treasuries at the far end of the maturity spectrum. It has a TER of 0.20%.

The iShares Diversified Commodity Swap UCITS ETF (ICOM) is listed in US dollars and provides exposure to a broad basket of commodities by tracking the Bloomberg Commodity USD Total Return Index. Its TER is 0.20%.

Additionally, BlackRock has listed four US equity ETFs, each providing exposure to a targeted sector within the S&P 500 Index. The iShares S&P 500 Consumer Staples UCITS ETF (IUCS), iShares S&P 500 Industrials UCITS ETF (IUIS), iShares S&P 500 Materials UCITS ETF (IUMS), and iShares S&P 500 Utilities UCITS ETF (IUUS) are all listed in US dollars, and each has a TER ranging between 0.10% and 0.15%.
