Horizons Nasdaq 100 Covered Call ETF reaches $100m AUM milestone

Horizons ETFs Management US has announced that its flagship fund, the Horizons Nasdaq 100 Covered Call ETF (Nasdaq: QYLD), has surpassed $100 million in AUM. The fund replicates a covered call strategy on the Nasdaq 100 Index. Nasdaq Stock Market hosted 13 new exchange-traded fund listings from four issuers during the second quarter of 2017. ETF providers listing on the exchange during the quarter included Victory Capital, First Trust, Legg Mason and IndexIQ.

BlackRock to transfer 50 iShares ETFs to Nasdaq or Bats

BlackRock has announced it will transition 50 iShares ETFs from NYSE Arca to either the Nasdaq or Bats exchanges on or about 1 August 2017. Bats will take 30 of the ETFs while the remaining 20 will move to Nasdaq.

Source reports record flows into biotech ETF

European ETF provider Source has reported that the Source NASDAQ Biotech UCITS ETF (LON: SBIO) has seen more than $300 million of net inflows over the past year with another $30 million added in the past week alone. There has been a big move up in US biotech in recent days with the underlying NASDAQ Biotech Index climbing more than 9% since the start of the last week.

First Trust has announced that the Trustees of the First Trust CBOE S&P 500 VIX Tail Hedge Fund (NYSE Arca: VIXH) have approved changes to the fund’s name, ticker code, underlying index, exchange and investment objective. The changes are due to come into effect on or around 18 August 2017.

First Trust Global Portfolios has launched the First Trust US Large Cap Core AlphaDEX UCITS ETF (FTGU) on Deutsche Börse’s Xetra platform.
