Description
Smart Beta Europe (register now) is moving to a purpose-built conference centre near St Paul’s in the City of London for 2017, having outgrown Cass Business School’s campus. The venue change will improve the all-round conference experience and deliver an enhanced networking environment for delegates. The conference will retain its focus on world-class empirical research. Indeed, this year’s event will build on the successes of previous years, with our expert speakers drawing on industry-leading research to examine the latest approaches to smart beta, assess their application across different asset classes and consider the practical, real-world implementation of such strategies within investment portfolios.

The conference will comprise a mix of presentations, panel sessions and networking breaks, with input from asset managers, index providers, academics and experienced smart beta users. The focus of the morning sessions will once again be led by our partners, providing an opportunity for delegates to hear directly from the foremost smart beta providers and to learn about the various solutions that are on the market today. These sessions offer a platform for sponsors to showcase new R&D and position themselves as thought-leaders in this increasingly important space. The afternoon sessions will feature Cass academics and select invited third-parties, including asset owners, such as pension funds and endowments, and other sophisticated smart beta investors.
